This full-day adventure begins in Puerto Ayora, where a shuttle will pick you up directly from your hotel. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before your tour.
You’ll then travel for about 45 minutes to Itabaca Channel, where your journey aboard a comfortable and upscale yacht begins. Throughout the tour, you’ll be accompanied by a certified naturalist guide who will share valuable insights into the ecosystems and biodiversity of the Galápagos.
The Bartolomé Island tour offers a perfect blend of adventure, stunning landscapes, and close encounters with iconic wildlife.
Your day starts with a scenic hike up a series of wooden stairs, revealing increasingly breathtaking views at every turn. At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most iconic vistas in the Galápagos—a dramatic volcanic landscape featuring the famous Pinnacle Rock.
After descending, you’ll enjoy a panga (dinghy) ride along Bartolomé’s shoreline. This is a unique opportunity to see Galápagos penguins up close as they perch on the lava rocks near Pinnacle Rock.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to nearby Santiago Island, where a short walk will take you to an impressive lava field. The striking contrast between the black volcanic rock and the surrounding landscape is a powerful reminder of the islands’ raw geologic forces.
Your next stop is Sullivan Bay Beach, where you’ll experience an unforgettable snorkeling session. Dive into crystal-clear waters and swim alongside penguins, sea turtles, and white-tip reef sharks in a setting that feels almost surreal.
This tour is perfect for travelers seeking a dynamic combination of volcanic landscapes, scenic hikes, and unforgettable marine life encounters.
